Besides tulips, orchids and roses, I’ve photographed many other flowers and plants in my garden travels over the past few years. The following is a collection of some of my favourites.

This was my first attempt at photographing a freesia. I love how vibrant the orange of this variety is and delicately it cascades from the vase. This was photographed in April at the Groot-Bijgaarden near Brussels, Belgium.

-
I dedicate this beautiful yellow calla lily to my Friend Jenn who loves them. I can’t photograph a calla without thinking of her. I shot this macro image at the Groot-Bijgaarden in Belgium.

This gorgeous ranunculus was blooming in the exhibition hall of the Groot Bijgaarden castle, located near Brussels, Belgium. I love the delicate pink edges on the white petals.

This beautiful “Purple Rain” Passion Flower vine (Passiflora “Purple Rain”) has been bringing a smile to my face all summer. Although it’s stunning purple blooms last only a day, it has been re-blooming all summer long and growing vigorously in the heat. The passion flower was adopted by Spanish Christian missonaries because they believed its various parts related to the crucifixion of Jesus Christ
